The RR1 is the simple and effective rear light you’ve been looking for. Whether you are logging early-morning road miles, navigating busy city streets on your daily commute, or riding pavement to transit out to your local gravel and mountain bike trails, the RR1 is the tool for the job. This light combines an ultra-lightweight 25-gram CNC aluminum chassis with automated smart-braking technology. It is built for riders who want high-visibility protection, clean integration, and maximum value without the cost, weight, or pairing headaches of complex radar systems.
The RR1 leverages a low-profile form that mounts seamlessly under a saddle or on a seatpost. By ditching the heavy plastic housings and app dependencies of rear lights, we’ve focused on utility: turn it on, snap it in place, and ride. The custom optic casts a wide 220-degree beam pattern that ensures you are seen at busy intersections and side streets as well as from directly behind. Whether you are battling urban traffic or spinning out to the singletrack, the RR1 delivers smart, effortless protection every time you hit the pedals.
The RR1 will be shipping in September 2026. Payment will be due prior to shipping your order, and will be invoiced when your lights are ready to ship. Margins on the RR1 will be 40% at time of invoice.

Smart Braking

The RR1 actively monitors your motion across every light mode. The moment you apply your brakes or slow down, the internal sensor triggers a 3 second, high-intensity 100-lumen burst. This automated flash provides an immediate, eye-catching warning to approaching drivers and trailing riders, giving traffic crucial extra time to react when your speed drops unexpectedly.
220° Wide Angle Optics
Commuters and trail transit riders face the most danger at urban intersections and cross-streets, not just straight-on highways. The RR1 features high-transparency Fresnel optics that project a broad, 220-degree beam pattern, illuminating side streets, blind spots, and lane merges from over 1,000 meters away.
Auto Sleep/Wake
For zero-friction daily use, the light automatically enters an energy-saving sleep mode after 120 seconds of standstill at a coffee shop, at work or back at home. As soon as you touch your bike or start rolling, the RR1 wakes right back up to your active setting.
Featherweight 25g CNC Aluminum & Magnetic Quick-Release
Heavy, clunky plastic rear lights rattle loose on dirt trails and look out of place on clean road bikes. Weighing just 25 grams, the self-contained RR1 packs a rechargeable 420mAh lithium cell inside a precision CNC-machined aluminum body built to handle severe trail vibration, mud, and heavy rain (IPX6 waterproof).
For everyday commuting convenience, the RR1 features a high-strength magnetic mount: pop the light off in one second to charge via USB-C or tuck it in your pocket when locking up outside, leaving your mount secured. Out of the box, you mount the light tucked cleanly out of harm's way under your saddle rails or strapped securely around your seatpost.
