Video: Spreading the Light

There’s a different kind of energy that comes alive when you ride at night. The world quiets down, your focus narrows, and the familiar paths you’ve ridden feel like a new adventure. Sharing that feeling—of focus, freedom, and rediscovery—is the reason for this project, and frankly why our company exists.

It started long before the camera was turned on. It began with a personal need. For me, mountain biking has been more than a sport; it's been an oasis through life's challenges, a necessary dose of mindfulness when the world gets too noisy. It’s a sport that has given me so much. But for years, my time on the trail was dictated by daylight. I tried a lot of lights and they were always a compromise, never enough to deliver the feeling of freedom I craved. They held me back and turned my moments of daytime flow into night time frustration.

The desire to build a light was born not from an opportunity to sell something, but from a deep respect for riding and a desire to give something back to the sport.

We teamed up with the talented rider and videographer Magnus Manson and gave him a simple but tough challenge: capture the essence of night riding, using only the Full On Lighting MB6 light. No big film crew lights, no generators, just the raw, authentic illumination.

From a filmmaking perspective, this was a creative hurdle. Magnus had to paint with a moving canvas of light, embracing the contrasts and shadows that define the night riding experience.

I don’t have a ton of experience with night riding, but It’s pretty insane to see the trails I know and love, but from a different perspective, without really compromising the level of riding I’m doing.”  Magnus Manson

Magnus invited pro rider Mark Wallace to help bring the project to life. Watching Magnus and Mark flow through different disciplines wasn't just about testing a product; it was about celebrating the different ways we all find joy on two wheels. Our goal was to show that this expression doesn’t have to end when the sun goes down.

I knew I wanted to try the MB6 at the local downhill spot, Mount Prevost. It was great to make it happen with Magnus. We have spent years riding these trails together but this was the first time with lights. I was impressed with how hard we could still push on the trails and how comfortable it was to hit the same lines and gaps we would in the daytime.” - Mark Wallace

I started this journey to solve my own problem, to build a light for myself. But the goal was always to pass the baton to other riders to find their own meaning after dark. This video is our invitation to you.
